Scary though the thought might be, your beloved GM does exist in reality, and spends most of his time running an
Olde Worlde Wine Bar, known as the Davy's of Regent's Place.

So where did it all begin? Well, I started roleplaying at the tender age of 12, when my sister (not realising what she
was getting into) bought me Basic Dungeons and Dragons. It wasn't until about 2 years later that we finally
understood what it was all about and the bug caught me.

Of course, I was destined to be a DM, being a controlling, vindictive bastard (at least according to my players) and
the rest is history.

During my long love affair with Roleplaying, I have used many systems, D + D, Warhammer, Middle Earth, Dragon
Warriors, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars, Star Trek, Traveller, Tunnels and Trolls, Judge Dredd, Paranoia, Warhammer
40k, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel Super Heroes, Pendragon, Elric, etc etc...

In1987 I started to run RPGs by mail, as a way of playing with other gamers I'd met through PBM wargames. One
such fellow was Jason Johns, who still plays to this day. The games were pretty primitive - hand written and
photocopied. Later, a typewriter joined the equation and it wasn't until around 1995 that I discovered computers
and started word processing turns. Then a couple of years later, I moved onto the Internet, and Knife's Edge
PBeMs (formerly going under the name Craig's PBMS) was born.

Thanks to Nigel Hughes, who not only designed the outstanding Familiar which I use to keep track of characters,
but also this very website, I have found a variety of new players (and friends) many of which will introduce
themselves on these pages.

I hope this has given you a little insight into me, and I hope you will all be sharing your inner most fantasies with us!
